Horse Management
Venture Polo operates a full scale polo livery and agistment property in the most idyllic setting, only one hour north of Melbourne at Equi Ventures, Woodmount Estate.
In conjunction with company owned horses, Venture Polo also manages horses for a number of Victoria’s prevalent Melbourne based amateur players. This is an end-to-end service that takes the headache away from running horses, grooms, transport and gear. All staff live on-site at Woodmount Estate, thus providing around-the-clock care.
Woodmount Estate
The birthplace of the internationally renowned Australian Equine Behaviour Centre, this unique 90 acre property is nestled in a tranquil location just 300 metres from the Mt Disappointment State Forest and the National Trail.
Woodmount Estate is one of the best equine training facilities and former home of the internationally renowned McLean family who have been pioneers in teaching and re-educating horses throughout the world.
Facilities
Woodmount Estate boasts 32 one to ten acre post and rail paddocks. Every paddock has undercover shelter and ample space to stretch out, all nestled in the idyllic hillside of Clonbinane.
The stable area similarly offers world class facilities with an indoor and outdoor arena, stable block, vet and tack room, laundry, staff accommodation and office. Infrastructure includes:
• 32 post and rail paddocks
• Stables, wash room and tack room
• Undercover round yard
• 24 undercover day yards
• 70 x 30 indoor arena
• 60 x 20 outdoor arena

Team and Event Management
Over the course of the year, Venture Polo fields and manages competing polo teams throughout the national polo circuit. Providing professional players and horses to a number of Australia’s biggest exhibition style polo events – managing both team allocations and horse power.
With this it is a privilege to have partnered with the Urban Polo Association to assist with the “polo management” of their Polo in the City and Polo by the Sea events across the east coast of Australia.
